32nd Week

This is what our fabulous first graders are learning this week:

OSA & College T-Shirt Day:  Friday, April 28th at 2:30
Math:  Students will learning double digit addition . 

Please continue to count money at home!  (Penny, Nickle, Dime, Quarter)

Addition:  D. 16-19
Phonics: Students continue to identify the au/aw sounds in words. (claw, caught, taught)

Core KnowledgeWe will continue with the The New Nation unit. We will be finishing up the unit, reviewing and taking a test.  

Writing:  Narrative writing is a small moment story told from personal experience.  Just like our other units, we will break this own into small chunks and do several of them together before they write their own independent piece.
